What
An off-roading long weekend extravaganza of wheeling and good times with EOTB friends and family.
Run great trails all day, tell tall tales around the campfire by the lake in the evening, have a few beers and fix your truck all night.
Where
The campsites are full. You should have been contacted by Paul Dufresne already concerning your site allocations. If not contact me or Paul. The campground is at the Black Donald Campground (http://www.blackdonaldtntpark.ca/) on Centennial lake. EOTB is on the Bayview Loop with many people doubled up on sites.
Details
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE CAMPING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRAILS – ALL MEMBERS ARE WELCOME!!
Please try to be at the camping area at 09:00am for the runs. However please also note that in keeping with EOTB tradition, runs are unlikely to start precisely on time and, depending on popular demand at the time and the capabilities of the trucks of those that want to participate, the destination of the trail runs may change at short notice.
The aim is to run 2 trails each day. It is planned that one be a moderate trail and the other more advanced, allowing plenty of wheeling choices for all our members, regardless of vehicle or experience. The following is the tentative trail plan – subject to change as explained above
SATURDAY
non epic trails so people have a chance to get back for the BBQ dinner
- Three Mountains
- Quinn
SUNDAY
- Crag Lake
- Quinn Loop and/or Crag Lake Full Monty
In addition we are likely to have at least one night trail run, however it has not yet been finalized yet.
Last, but certainly not least, the highlight of the Camp (other than the trails) is the EOTB BBQ dinner on Saturday. This year it is being organized by Carol Palko and is featuring smoked BBQ ribs by Hummer Bob!! Please note that there is a fee to attend this to cover the cost. Those camping will already have paid the BBQ fee. Those participating for the day will need to check with Carol Palko or Paul Dufresne to see if there is space left and what the fee would be.
See you there!!
