Before the province loosened restrictions, the club had to make the difficult call to cancel Camp EOTB 2020. A part of the Crag Lake Trail System, Sullivan Lake offers similar terrain. It is very rocky with tight sections and narrow ridges. The trail leads to Sullivan Lake and features two great camping spots by the lake. It is also the starting point for the Evergreen Mountain trail. The spring Adopt-a-Road Clean-up is on for this Saturday May 10 followed by a trail ride to the Rusty Bat. Full details here. Teenagers 12 and older are allowed to participate, but they must fill out the consent form. For those in high school, this is a great opportunity to get some volunteer hours.

Due to the extra soggy spring we've had, the BOD has decided to postpone the Season Opener until further notice. A few of us will be heading up there in the coming days to monitor the access road and trail conditions. We will keep you posted!

What a great Camp this year!!! Almost 40 members of the extended EOTB family – young, old, and all ages in between – participated in the Camp and it turned out to be a huge success. Tuesday evening a few of us from EOTB and OJC went to the Gorge trailhead for a quick reccee to see firsthand what the road/trailhead is like. The road that leads to the trailhead is very soft and there is still some snow along the side of the road. Both OJC and EOTB have decided not to do trail runs at the Gorge this coming weekend.
