Gorge Trail Report – June 23 2002

On Sunday a few of us decided to make a trek to the Gorge to do a little rock crawling. Well after a little breakfast Trevor G., Phil L., and I headed out from Orleans around 10am. On our way there we noticed a Cherokee that was pulling a built green Zuk along the side of the hwy by the Carp Rd. exit. Since we weren't very far from the meeting spot where we were suppose to hook up with Jean-Marc W. the guys kept on going and I went back to see if there was anything wrong. (more…)

Seminar Report – June 15 2002

Just wanted to tell you about EOTB's 3rd seminar which we ran yesterday, with 7 students coming out in a variety of vehicles including a Suzuki, an Isuzu, and some Jeeps including a Grand Cherokee. We had 5 of our own members making 12 in all. (more…)

Gorge Trail Report – May 11 2002

The great weather on Saturday was only the beginning, as several EOTB trucks headed out to the Gorge to enjoy a day of off-camber articulation and rock crawling. A few bangs were heard as vehicles came into intimate contact with rocks – good thing there are skid plates!! Although we need one on the drive shaft eh Evan? (more…)

Larose Trail Report – April 6 2002

There were 10 vehicles out yesterday and we had a pretty good time. There were some unexpected water crossings at at least a couple of other more difficult brook crossings - typical for this time of year. We did notice one stock Jeep with water wings!! (more…)

New Off-Roader Seminar – June 23 2001

Hello Members and Friends of EOTB Yesterday, Saturday, June 23, EOTB ran its seminar for people who are new at offroading - and it was a great success despite the rain all day long. We had 8 seminar participant vehicles - about 15 people in total - supported by 6 EOTB member vehicles - a nice long 14 vehicle train. (more…)
