Expecting a long day on the trail, we bypassed the Bells Corners meeting place and met at Munford's in Calabogie where 5 Jeeps headed out to the trail head and by 10:15am we were aired-down, disconnected and on the trail.

Trail Report – Scotch Line – July 2009
Looks like all fingers pointed at me to do the trail report this week...
A small group of three trucks were out for this past Sunday's run to Scotch Line and Cookmans trail. John and Gina came with the big YJ, Mark and the Land Rover +2 guests, and myself with my TJ. Paul was scheduled to come out but unfortunately had some alternator issues to deal with. We met in Merrickville in the morning, waited a few minutes for any other trucks to come out, and then we were on our way.

Trail Report – Brockvegas – June 2009
Well you know what they say, "What happens in BrockVegas stays in BrockVegas" well this one is to good not to share, so here goes.
So the plan was to run the Black and Decker trail in my hometown of Brockville, meeting time was set for 10:30am. I thought I should show up early to be the first one there to greet people. Dashed to find H3 Bob and Linda were already there by 10am followed shortly by Paul with a gaggle of kids. We ended with 10 trucks in total and headed to the trail.

EOTB Fall Tour – Sunday October 4 2009
Well it's that time of year, a chill is in the air and a great show of Autumn colours awaits.
This year's Tour is special, that's right special.
We have a relaxed short tour planned with several scenic view points all accessible with stock vehicles.
The highlight is a NEW privately owned play area that EOTB has gained access to, we call it "Ferguson's Rocks".

Trail Report – Carp – June 2009
The weather seemed to be cooperating when we gathered at Bells Corners. We were pleased to see John and Gina return for another run with the club, and that Steve joined us for his first run of the season. With the paperwork taken care of we made our way to the trail head where Steve and John unloaded their Jeep and the customary pre-trail rituals were performed.

Trail Report – Gorge – June 2009
Well they weren't promising good weather and it was the first Saturday trail run that we hosted in a long time so I wasn't too sure who would show up. Then I forgot that I had to attend a BBQ at my Sisters in Athens that evening, the odds weren't looking good.
At the last minute my wife Carol decided to attend in Her Rubicon, it would be Her first trail run of the season and Her first time off-roading in Her Little Blue Stock Rubicon.

Trail Report – Lavant – May 2009
I found myself leading once again. The fun started with a call from Pat at 8:45am wondering where everyone was. I guess he was a little anxious to get on the trails. When I arrived at Bells Corners, it was clear we would be a large groups. In addition to Pat, three others were out for their first run of the season with Mike back from India, Jerry hobling in and out of the Explorer and Jason wanting to test his Liberty after a years worth of withdrawal.

Trail Report – Newbie Run – April 2009
We had an excellent turnout for the Newbie run on Sunday and although it was cloudy, we only got occasional drizzle. We welcomed a wide variety of trucks including an FJ Cruiser, Dakota, Ranger, Discovery, Lexus, Grand Vitara, Frosty's Cherokee and a handful of TJs. Many of these trucks had returned for more abuse after last weeks run to the Gorge. We could not ask for a better day to hold the 2009 season opener. The weather was a little cool in the morning to get us started but soon warmed to a very nice spring day.
Seventeen trucks showed up at the usual Bell’s Corners meeting place where we completed the paper work, inspected the trucks, exchanged some conversation and headed off to the trail.

Trail Report – Darling (Second Attempt) – November 2008
With Jerry not finding his parts in time, and others squirreling their Jeeps away at the first sight of snow, we had a very small group on Sunday. Two trucks, in fact, when we left Bells Corners at 9:30am. With just Nick and I showing up in the parking lot, we decided to take advantage of the small group and hit the Rock Coady Trail on our way to Darling.

We had a small group this morning. I originally expected half-a-dozen trucks for today's trail run, but only three of us met at Bell's Corners. Jerry, who was eager to take the explorer on its inaugural trail run, Doug and I set out for the trail. Trail Report – Crag Lake – October 2008
With club members recovering from thanksgiving dinner, we had a small group for the trail run on Monday. We left Bells Corners with 7 trucks and a minivan, collecting an 8th along the way. We made our way to Munford's to see if anyone else would join us and wait for Frosty and Nick that had deverted from the group to stop for gas. It was at this point that we convinced Sheila to park the minivan and hop in with the others.

What can i say, The Gorge...
We started out the morning at Zellers with 2 YJ's, 2 TJ's, 1 JK, 1 XJ, 1 Toyota, 1 Dodge pickup and a Suzuki Swift. We left and headed our way to the gorge pre area where we picked up one more TJ and a tubed buggy. We aired down, talked and finally made our way to the trail.

Trail Report – Rusty Bat – September 2008
Another early morning meeting in Bells Corners found 5 trucks ready and waiting for Serge. When it was clear that Serge was a no-show, we made our way to Calabogie, where we were to meet Al at Munford's. Trail Report – Straddlebug – September 2008
If there's one thing that can be said about trail run's with the EOTB, it's "expect the unexpected".
If you were following the mailing list leading up to this trail run, then you know that the Straddlebug trail is pretty tame, not too technical, perhaps even boring. For this reason, I was expecting a relatively simple in-and-out trail run. Silly me. I set expectations.

Trail Report – Carp Night Run – September 2008
I will tell you a story about a trail run that should have been 2 to 3 hours long and turned out to be 6.5 hrs long.
We met at the Zellers in Bells Corners for 19:00. We had to wait for Serge, who arrived at 19:45. We left the parking lot and started our trip to Carp and Timmy's. Lol. Trail Report – Crag Lake Front Door – Camp EOTB 2008
As was already reported, our trail run was delayed some as we tried to stem the flow of coolant from Rodney's rig. Meanwhile, Jerry was discovering he had a bearing issue and possibly a problem with the 4WD engagement motor while Redneck played on the ver large pile of gravel.

Trail Report – Griffith – Camp EOTB 2008
After some mild confusion, a fuel stop and a few wrong turns by some members of the group, we found our way to the Griffith trail head. We stopped for a moment to air down when Pat realized the linkage for the transfer case hadn't been reconnected after his last service stop. After a few choice words about the dealer mechanic's competency, it took Pat and I under the truck, and some tools handed down by Redneck, about 10-15 minutes to reseat the linkage so we could get under way.
