Well I’ll try to give a brief overview of Camp this year as there are so many small stories that happen within the weekend.
People started rolling in late afternoon as usual, Norm showed up with a giant 20’x20′ tent that his Scout Group graciously donated for the weekend. It didn’t take long to set up especially motivated by the dark clouds looming and a few drops of rain that were felt.
Normally on Friday night we don’t have a very large crowd at the communal fire pit but this year was the acceptation. The wood was dry and the kids started an awesome fire. Wieners were roasted as people reunited around the fire. The weather was uncertain but we all anticipated a good time of food, fellowship and four wheeling.
