Crag Lake is one of the club’s favourite trails with challenging rock climbs ending at a very scenic lakeside. The trail, however, also branches off to the south where the terrain becomes even rockier and more challenging. Damage is likely on this trail.
This is an overnight event with limited enrollment that will include overnight camping.
Primary Meeting Location: The Bogie General Store at 9:00am
Given the length of the trail, we will forego the usual meeting spot in Bells Corners and meet at The Bogie General Store at the intersection of Highways 508 and 511.
We will be leaving no later than 9:30am.
Tow Points are mandatory for this trail. A lift and 33″ or larger tires is recommended for this trail.
Please come to the meeting location fully fueled and ready to roll.
This is a members only run. If you wish to invite a non-member, please contact the trail leader to confirm that this event is suitable for your guest.
Please tune your CB to channel 4. No CB? Bring your FRS radio tuned to channel 4.
Remember to bring a lunch, plenty of water, boots, cameras and your sense of adventure. It is also recommended that you carry a tow strap and some shackles as basic extraction equipment.
Since we will be camping, bring a tent, sleeping bag and enough food and water to sustain you for two full days. Bug spray and sunscreen may also be wise.
