Adopt-a-Road Cleanup – June 2010

Thanks to the 16 members who came out on June 19 to help the club participate in the Renfrew County Adopt-a-Road program. EOTB has adopted 2 km of Hwy 508 leading into Munfords in Calabogie. We use this road so often on the way to so many trails and to camp, it only makes sense that we try to help keep it beautiful. 2 km doesn't sound like much but on a hot day, under attack by ants, wading through long grass, thistles and brush, it's a lot of work! Camp EOTB Registration Announcement

July 30th – August 2nd, 2010 (Friday – Monday) - Calabogie, ON Description Back by popular demand, Camp EOTB is being held in Calabogie at Black Donald Tent & Trailer Park. Sites are limited so reserve now. Eleven sites (#’s 3-4-5-6-7-8-10-11-14-40-41) have been reserved and singles can double up on a site. The sites are booked from Friday night to Monday noon. Trail Leader Course

Once again in an effort to provide safe and organized trail runs EOTB is proud to host its Trail Leader Course. One of our goals is to train new leaders and also hone our experienced members' skills. With the growing need to off-road responsibly we train out leaders to respect the environment so that our precious crown trail system remains accessible to us and our children for generation to come. We've changed the New Offroaders Seminar for Saturday June 14 2008 to a New Offroading trail run to the Gorge. We'll have some experienced members out to help everyone enjoy the day. Trail Leader Seminar – May 2008

It was my honour to host this years Trail Leadership Course in Brockville, it was a mild sunny day and we had an excellent turn out. By 10am a total of 8 vehicles and a total of 12 members were in attendance, from as far away as Belleville and Quebec but mostly the Ottawa area.
